1. Literature Evening with Drew Daniel: a lecture on Shakespeare’s A Winter’s Tale. Wednesday, May 9th.  Franklin living room.  7 pm. Drew Daniel is a professor of English at Johns Hopkins University and is one half of the electronica duo Matmos.  He received his PhD from UC Berkeley, writing a dissertation entitled ” ‘I Know Not Why I Am So Sad’ : Melancholy and Knowledge in Early Modern English Portraiture, Drama, and Prose”.
